Renault, the French automaker has unveiled the Duster Extreme Concept at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. Designed by Renault's design centre RDAL (Renault Design Latin America), the Duster Extreme edition is basically an off-roading concept vehicle.
The Duster Extreme Concept is the modified version of the regular Duster, which shows the enhanced all-terrain capabilities of the popular SUV. The vehicle gets the highly popular Duster 2.0-litre AWD's off-road attributes along with several new performance features and accessories.
The Renault Duster Extreme gets grey bodywork and red accessories, off-road tyres and raised suspensions. In order to give sporty look, the SUV gets tow hook, fender flared, side stairs, a side rack with LED light bars and roof rack.
Inside the cabin, the Duster Extreme Concept gets all-black scheme with contrasting red accents on several elements. Other design highlights include "Extreme" badging on the dashboard and "4WD" lettering on the steering wheel.
The Duster Extreme Concept features 2.0-litre flex-fuel four-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 143bhp at 5,750rpm and 198Nm of torque at 4,000rpm (148bhp & 205Nm on ethanol).
The production spec 4x4 model features a 6-speed manual gearbox, but the Duster Extreme gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
