MV Agusta has introduced the F4 RC exotic superbike at a massive price tag of Rs 50.35 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). This superbike is one of the most expensive bikes currently on sale in the Indian market. This is a limited edition motorcycle and a total of 250 units will be developed worldwide. India only gets the single unit.
In the name - F4 RC, RC stands for Reparto Corse. It is the lighter and faster version of the popular MV Agusta F4, and is hand built by a team of specialists. Engineers have used exotic materials to achieve light weight, as it only weighs just 175kgs.
The company claims that the F4 RC gets magenisum covers for a few engine parts, and 11 carbon fibre parts along with 333 titanium bolts that helps to reduce few kgs. Adding to it, the engine also gets a lighter crankshaft. The bike is equipped with stylish-looking lighter, forged aluminium wheels.
This Italian exotic superbike gets expensive track-focused suspension mechanism. The front gets Ohlins NIX 30 forks with adjustments for spring-preload, compression and damping. At the rear, this bike sports an Ohlins TTX 36 shock absorber that adjusts on compression and rebound on damping.
Powering this expensive two-wheeler is a 998cc, 4-cylinder engine, which is tuned to produce massive 205PS of power at 13,600rpm and 111Nm of torque at 9,600. The company is also offering the race kit with this bike, which will turn it into a proper WSBK-spec replica. The sport kit comprises of a dedicated ECU by Magneti Marelli and Termignoni exhaust that bumps up the power to 212PS.
Besides new race kit, this exotic superbike also gets new bodywork with a new set of graphics and the AMG moniker. The AMG moniker indicates MV Agusta's collaboration with the Mercedes-Benz's performance brand - AMG.
At Rs 50.43 lakh (ex-showroom Pune), the MV Agusta F4 RC is one of the most expensive exotic superbikes currently on sale in India.
