Hyundai Grand i10 is now on sale in India within the price range of Rs 4.58 lakh – Rs 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the petrol variants carry a price tag ranging from Rs 4.58 lakh to Rs 6.82 lakh, the diesel models cost between Rs 5.68 lakh – Rs 7.32 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2017 Grand i10 facelift receives subtle exterior and interior upgrades and a new 1.2-litre turbo diesel engine.
Exterior Changes - The updated i10 features a revised front bumper, LED daytime running lights placed near fog lamps. Though, these features are being offered only on the Sportz (O) and Asta variants. The car also gets new Cascade design grille and new diamond cur alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a new dual-tone bumper with reflectors and taillamp cluster.
Colours - Hyundai also introduced a new Red Passion shade instead the Wine Red. The hatchback also continues to be available in the regular colour options – Pure White, Sleek Silver, Twilight Blue and Stardust.
Interior Changes – The Hyundai Grand i10 Asta variant now comes with a 7-inch infotainment system and climate control. The car also gets Apple Carplay and Android Auto, which is also available on the new-gen Elantra and Tucson. While the Sportz and Asta variants made available with dual front airbags, the drive side airbags come as standard.
Engine Specs - The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 facelift features the same 1.2-litre 4-cylinder VTVT petrol engine generating 81bhp and 114Nm. The hatchback gets a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo diesel motor that churns out 73.97bhp and 190.2Nm. Transmission options on offer are – a 5-speed MT (standard) and a 4-speed AT (only on the petrol model).
Competition – The new Hyundai Grand i10 facelift have rivals like Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Tiago, Ford Figo and Nissan Micra in India.
