Rolls Royce Wraith launches in India

Rolls-Royce India has launched its most powerful and dynamic Wraith in the Indian car market for Rs. 4.6 crore. The vehicle today began its multi-city tour of India, and it will be the centrepiece of various events that will be held for customers and media in cities including Mumbai, Chandigarh and Hyderabad.

As the most luxurious four-seater Coupé in its segment, Wraith features a fastback design, signature Rolls-Royce coach doors and, at 624 brake horsepower, is the most powerful Rolls-Royce motor cars ever made.

Wraith boasts a twin-turbo V12 engine married to 8-speed automatic ZF transmission. 624 bhp /465 kW and 800 Nm of torque from only 1,500 rpm is available to the driver, with the 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in 4.6 seconds.

I foresee Wraith appealing to a new segment of Indian customers who value driving in style and comfort but want effortless performance.”

Rolls Royce Wraith comes with a wide rear track, shorter wheelbase and lower roof height, which further enhances the driving experience. The car sits on a set of 21-inch five-spoke part polished tyres which feature self-righting RR monogram centres matched to the body colour of the car. Wraith’s air suspension has also been tuned to minimise body roll and discreetly amplify feedback when cornering; While steering weight is heavier at high speeds and lighter at low speeds adding to the spirited drive.

The mean-machine also gets head-up display, adaptive headlights and Wraith’s keyless opening boot. Camera system will come as standard in all Wraiths delivered to India. It comes with a voice activation commands, for example, come with a one-touch call button located on the steering wheel.
