Maruti Suzuki XL6 Launching Tomorrow – What To Expect?

Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch an all-new crossover based on the second-generation Ertiga MPV tomorrow (21st August, 2019). Called the Maruti Suzuki XL6, the new model has received several aesthetic and feature upgrades that differentiate it from its donor sibling. The XL6, however, has retained most of the premium styling cues of the Ertiga MPV.

Visually, the new Maruti XL6 looks more crossover-ish than the Ertiga. Upfront, the vehicle features a trapezoidal grille, quad-LED headlamps with LED DRLs, revised bumper with beefier cladding and sculpted lines, new fog lamp assembly, a larger central airdam and a sculpted bonnet with faux skid plates. The LED taillamps have a new piano black inserts. It also receives a new rear bumper with a larger silver skid plate. The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will come in a choice of multiple colour options – Nexa Blue, Metallic Premium Silver, Metallic Magma Grey, Prime Auburn Red, Pearl Arctic White and Pearl Brave Khaki. Interior layout of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is exactly similar to the Ertiga MPV. Though, it gets all-black theme with new brushed aluminum finish on the dashboard with piano black inserts. The new model also features SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The Maruti XL6 is a 6-seater vehicle with captain seats in the middle and two-seater bench at the third row seat. Power is derived from a 1.5L dual VVT petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid technology. The gasoline unit makes a peak power of 103.5bhp and 138Nm of torque. The 1.5L diesel motor with SHVS system will also be on offer. The Maruti Suzuki XL6 can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
