Mahindra has launched the XUV500 Sportz Edition in the Indian car market. It is based on the W8 variant, and is priced at rs. 13.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz edition is equipped with some additional features including Stylish Sportz Decals, Unique Alloy Wheels with signature red inserts, Convenient rear-view Camera, Sporty Leather-Fabric Seats, Fog lamps & door handles with red accents, Stylized roof rails in red and ‘Sportz’ badging.

India’s leading car manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra is reportedly working on a Limited Edition of the XUV500 SUV in the country. The pictures of the special edition model have surfaced on the web; however, there is not much information about the vehicle is available. This product is expected to get cosmetic upgrades and additional features.
The Limited Edition Mahindra XUV500 will sport decals reading “Sportz” on the sides. The decals have also been added on the top of the sports utility vehicle, hood and outside rear view mirrors as well.
Customers will have an option to choose between the black interiors with white exteriors. The current XUV500 with white exteriors comes equipped with beige interiors as standard. This model will also get an integrated reverse camera at the back, red reflectors on the wheels and a restyled arm rest.
Mahindra is also working on the automatic version of the XUV500 which is expected to hit the market share by the year end. Under the hood, the special edition model will remain unchanged- a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 140bhp and 330Nm of torque.
