Force Motors has silently introduced the 4×4 version of the Force One SUV in the Indian car market. Named as Force One LX, the sales of this model will start in the first week of June. The vehicle was showcased in July last year and it has been priced at Rs. 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom Navi Mumbai).
Under the hood, the Force One LX gets the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that also powers the SX variant. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 141PS at 3,800rpm and a peak torque of 321Nm at 1,600-2,400rpm. This model comes with an electronic shift-on-the-fly 4WD system and it is coupled to a five-speed gearbox. On safety front, the Force One LX features anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and others; however, it lacks airbags. –
This model is equipped with various features such as projector headlamps with daytime running lights, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, reverse parking sensors, cruise control and keyless entry. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to alloy wheels. The interiors of the SUV get a 2-DIN music system with controls mounted on the steering wheel and it is compatible with Bluetooth.
