2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift reaches dealership; Launch Soon

Likely to be launched this month, the Hyundai Creta facelift will receive several design changes along with additional features on the top-end model.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd is gearing up for the launch of the updated version of the Creta. In fact, few dealers of the SUV have already started taking pre-orders for the SUV. Media reports claim that the SUV will go on sale on May 23 or 24. The SUV will receive several design changes along with additional features on the top-end model. Ahead of launch, the Creta facelift has started to reach dealerships for customer preview.

On the exterior, the Hyundai Creta facelift will receive new front fascia. It will get new projector headlamps with LED DRLs, Hyundai’s signature cascading grille with chrome surround and dual-tone bumper with a faux skid plate. The side profile remains unchanged, except for the new set of alloys. At the back, the SUV gets new taillamps and an updated bumper. Hyundai Creta Sport Features

The 2018 Creta facelift will be made available in 7 exterior paint jobs – Polar White, Phantom Black, Sleek Silver, Fiery Red, Stardust, Passion Orange and Marina Blue. The range-topping variant also gets features like a smart key ban, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, electric sunroof, cruise control and wireless charging. Mechanically, the Creta facelift will remain unchanged. It will continue with existing set of engines – 1.4-litre diesel, 1.6-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol. While the smaller capacity engine is good for 89bhp and 220Nm, the 1.6L diesel engine produces 126bhp and 260Nm. The gasoline engine is good for 121bhp and 151Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the SUV gets a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic unit.
