BS6 Suzuki Access 125 Revealed; Launch Next Month
Suzuki Motorcycle India has revealed its first BS6-compliant model – the 2020 Suzuki Access 125. Prices of the updated model will be announced in January, 2020. The 2020 Suzuki Access 125 receives a new LED headlamp, an eco assist illumination and an external fuel filler cap. It also gets a long seat with larger under-seat storage, enlarged floorboard and easy start system. The new Special Edition additionally offers a USB socket as standard fitment.
For power, the 2020 Suzuki Access 125 BS6 uses the BS6-compliant 124cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine benefited with fuel injection technology. It generates power worth 8.6bhp at 6,750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm. While the power figure remains unchanged, the torque has been reduced by 0.2Nm. No other changes have been made to the scooter. Similar to the previous model, the 2020 Suzuki Access 125 BS6 comes fitted with telescopic upfront and swing arm rear suspension. The braking power is sourced from front drum/disc brakes and rear drum brake. The scooter rides on the same 90/90-12 front and 90/100-10 rear tubeless tyres.
