India’s top selling B+ segment hatchback, Maruti Swift, is all set to get a mid-life facelift to remain fresh in the growing market. First launched in 2005, the company last revamped the hatchback in 2011. It is now second time when Maruti Suzuki will update the Swift hatchback. Moreover, Hyundai India is all set to launch the new generation i20 while Honda will launch the new generation Jazz hatchback in the country. So, it is the right time to slip in a revamped Swift hatchback to counter the growing competition in the hatchback segment. The exteriors of the Swift are slightly tweaked, while the interiors get some additional features. The vehicle sports L-shaped LEDs, restyled fog lamps and bumper with silver detailing. The top spec model is likely to feature a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels, while the lower trims gets steel wheels with new wheel covers. A new Boost Blue metallic exterior paint is also likely on offer. Inside, the vehicle gets new fabric seats, auto-up touch function, automatic headlamps, start-stop button and others.
