The gasoline version is available in two transmission options that include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. On the other hand, the diesel version is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox that delivers power to the front wheels.

The City sedan petrol is claimed to return an ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.8kmpl. Interestingly, the automatic model gives 18kmpl. The diesel version of the sedan delivers 25.8kmpl, which is also the second most fuel efficient in its league.

Talking about Ciaz, the sedan petrol version delivers 20.73kmpl and 19.2kmpl in manual and automatic variants, respectively. The diesel model is also the most fuel efficient car in the country. It is claimed to return an impressive 28.09kmpl.
