Honda Cars India has recently rolled out its first 2017’s product – the new City facelift, that will be soon followed by the all-new Honda WR-V. With an aim to increase its market share, the Japanese carmaker is woking on a bunch of all new cars for the Indian market. The company is also preparing to foray into some new segments.
Here’s a list of the all upcoming new Honda cars in India that will go on sale in the next two years.
The Japanese automaker is working on an all-new Jazz hatchback-based crossover – Honda WRV. Previewed at the 2016 Sao Paula Auto Show, this small crossover will be positioned below the Honda BRV compact SUV in India. The vehicle will share its engine lineup with the sibling hatchback – i.e. a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. While the former makes 89bhp and 109Nm of torque, the latter one delivers 99bhp and 200Nm.
Talking about styling, the WRV crossover will get sporty body kit that will give a rugged and aggressive look. The car features a new front grille, smoked headlamps, plastic cladding, scuff plates, roof rails and new bumpers. Inside the cabin, the small crossover could get slightly upgraded dashboard, new aircon vents and seat upholstery.
