Honda Cars India has recently rolled out 2 new products – the new City facelift and the all-new Honda WRV sub-4 metre SUV. With an aim to increase its market share, the Japanese carmaker is working on a bunch of all new cars for the Indian market. The company is also preparing to foray into some new segments. Here’s a list of the all upcoming new Honda cars in India that will go on sale in the next two years.
1. Honda Jazz Facelift
After launching the new WRV crossover, the Japanese automaker will launch the updated Jazz hatchback in the country. The vehicle will share most of its design changes and features from the new City sedan. It is expected to get a slightly modified front fascia and new taillamps. Like the WRV, the Jazz facelift is likely to get a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Mirror Link compatibility. Mechanically, the 2017 Jazz will remain unchanged; however, the company will add more sound deadening material to improve NVH levels. The diesel version will be powered by a 99bhp, 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit, while the gasoline version will continue with 87bhp, 1.2-litre i-VTEC unit. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual (Petrol), a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic (Petrol Only). The updated Jazz is expected to be launched in the country towards the end of 2017 or early 2018.
