TVS Motor Company has launched a limited edition of its popular scooter – Jupiter – in India. Called the TVS Jupiter MillionR, the special edition celebrates the scooter’s 1 million sales milestone in the country. The vehicle was first launched in the year 2013, and it crossed the million mark in just 30 months.

The TVS Jupiter MillionR special edition is priced at Rs 53,034 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes with 10 additional features including mobile charger, front disc brake, floor mats, beige inner panels, dual-tone seats and rear-view mirrors with chrome elements. The scooter also gets a new royal wine paint scheme.

Since it’s just a special edition, the Jupiter millionR receives no mechanical updates. It continues to feature the same 109.7cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air cooled engine that does duty in the regular model as well. This engine, mated to a CVT automatic gearbox, churns out a maximum power output of 7.8bhp at 7500rpm and 8Nm at 5500rpm.
