Triumph Motorcycles, today, launched the 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 in India at Rs. 8.70 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Bookings have also been commenced across 12 Triumph dealerships. Triumph claims that the new Bonneville T120 is among the three new exciting Bonneville motorcycles that feature 100% authentic Bonneville character, truly modern capability and performance.
Power for the 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 comes from an all-new 1200cc ‘high torque’ 8 valve, parallel twin engine that is benefited with multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection system. Its liquid cooling system helps achieve cleaner emissions and high fuel efficiency than before. This powertrain delivers high torque across the rev range. It is claimed to offer 79bhp at 6,550rpm and 105Nm at 3,100rpm. Transmission duties are served by a 6-speed gearbox. Power delivery is linear and smooth, thanks to its engine with 270 degree firing interval.

With an all-new chassis and suspension unit, the new Bonneville T120 is now claimed to be a more refined day-to-day riding machine. The new model retains original details, and features deep chrome multi-piece badges, centre stand, heated grips, grab rail and wheel rims. It also gets twin skinned chrome exhaust headers and peashooter style silencers. The motorcycle measures 2,170mm in length, 785mm in width and 1,125mm in height (without mirrors). It has a wheelbase of 1,445mm, and offers a seat height of 785mm. The fuel tank capacity stands at 14.5-litres.
The 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 is made available in four colour schemes – Jet Black, Cinder Red, Jet Black and Pure White, and Cranberry Red and Aluminum Silver. Triumph is offering a new custom accessory range with the bike that includes Authentic chrome ‘4 bar’ tank badge, ribbed and stitched black seat, compact LED indicators, chrome Vance & Hines peashooter slip on silencers, black ‘Barrel style’ handlebar grips and chrome clutch cover, alternator cover and throttle body embellishers.
