Hero MotoCorp has introduced the 2015 Hero Passion Pro facelift with updated engine at Rs. 50, 057 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Just so you know, the company has sold over a million units of the bike annually.
The 2015 Hero Passion Pro gets engine upgrade and two new paint options. Powering the bike is a 97.2cc APDV (Advanced Pro-Series Digital Variable Ignition System) engine that churns out a maximum power of 8.36PS at 8, 000rpm and 8.05 of torque at 5, 000rpm. Earlier, on the previous models, this engine delivers 7.8PS at 7, 500rpm and 8.04Nm at 4, 500rpm. The fuel tank capacity, too, is increased to 13.5-liters. It gets a new flush type fuel tank cap.
The new Passion Pro is one of the bikes to feature an upfront disc brake (240mm) in its league. It gets clear indicators and tail light with slightly different design. Other changes include a digital analog combination meter integrated on instrument cluster, front side cowl and power start. The Hero Passion Pro is now available in eight shades, including two new shades – Matte Brown and Majestic White – and regular six shades – Force Silver, Black Sports Red, Bronze Yellow, Black Sports Red, Sports Red and Black Heavy Grey.
