MG Motor India is all set to launch the new ZS EV facelift in the Indian market in February 2022. The new model has been spotted testing several times in India. This time, the SUV was caught without any camouflage revealing most of the design details and interior.

It comes with a new body-coloured, blanked-off front design replacing the conventional grille. The charging port is positioned next to the MG badge. The SUV also gets newly designed front and rear bumpers. The EV also gets differently designed alloy wheels.
The spy images reveal that the 2022 MG ZS EV facelift cabin will look similar to that of the Astor. It gets rectangular AC vents positioned on top of the central console, while the side vents are in round-shape. It gets a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The controls for AC are situated below the touch unit.
The steering wheel is identical to the Astor. It gets red stitching on the central tunnel and on the steering. Also available is a 7-inch digital instrument console. Similar to the Astor, the ZS EV has a carbon-fibre-like finish on the dashboard and on the door panel.
The electric SUV is likely to share electronic power steering, a panoramic sunroof, rain sensing wipers, powered driver’s seat, PM 2.5 Filter, automatic AC and multiple USB charging ports with the Astor SUV. It is also expected to get ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which is sourced from Bosch. The ADAS features include Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Ford Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Speed warning, and intelligent headlamp control.
