Skoda has recently unveiled the new 2015 Skoda Fabia hatchback via its social media platform. The vehicle is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October while the sales are likely to begin from year end. Based on the thoroughly modified PQ25 platform, the 2015 Skoda Fabia hatchback gets elongated body design that makes it look more appealing than its predecessor. Now, a new rendering reveals a possible appearance of the Fabia Monte Carlo Edition.
The rendered image of the Monte Carlo edition features the signature red livery and black roof, black alloy wheels and black wing mirrors. This rendering, however, lacks the black gloss wheel arches that were present on the previous model. It is likely to feature sports suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, sports seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Moreover, Skoda will not develop the sporty vRS Fabia.
The new generation Skoda Fabia will come in seven engine options in the EU nations. There will be 4 petrol and 3 diesel motors, all engines will be EU6 compliant. The transmission options are likely to the five-speed manual or a DSG dual clutch gearbox. The gasoline version of the hatchback will be the new three- and four-cylinder layouts. A 3-cylinder 1.0L and 4-cylinder 1.0L turbocharged motor will also be on offer. The turbocharged motor will offer a range of power output- 60-110bhp. The 1.4-litre engine would offer a range of power from 74 to 103bhp.
