The much-awaited Honda CB Unicorn 160 has been spotted testing again. The production ready bike would go on sale in the country by January. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 73,000 to Rs. 77,000.

Sharing design and styling with the CX-01 concept and CB Trigger, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 front features a biking fairing and new headlamp unit. The front previews Honda’s traditional design which is visible on the CB Trigger and other Honda’s. The muscular design for fuel tank featuring fibre cowl that accommodates the company’s logo is visible. Its side panels get silver and black finish. There is a single elongated seat on offer, which is something new to its segment.

The other features include heel-toe gear shifter, new saree guard and fully covered chain guard. It is propelled by a single cylinder 160cc engine, which is speculated to be fuel efficient and high on performance. This engine is expected to develop 14.5PS of power and is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox.

The suspension system comprises of telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear. The front gets disc brakes while the rear features the conventional drum type brakes. It will be positioned above the CB Trigger and will rival against the likes of Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.0, Suzuki Gixxer and the soon to be launch Hero Xtreme Sports.
