Mercedes-Benz India has launched the E350 CDI in the Indian car market. This is the new addition to the E-Class lineup and is priced at Rs. 57.42 lakh, ex-showroom Pune. The E-Class is Mercedes-Benz’s bestselling car and the new model will further consolidate its position in the Indian car market.
The Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI is equipped with several high end features and premium interior upholstery. The vehicle is equipped with several avant-grade safety features including Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control with Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, pedestrian recognition, Cross Traffic Assistant, blind-spot warning, adaptive high-beam lights and automatic parking.
Under the bonnet is the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that is capable of producing 265PS and 620Nm of top torque.It would be coupled with the 7-speed dual clutch ‘7G-Tronic Plus’ gearbox which is already doing duties to the E200 and E250 CDi variants. This powerful engine propels the saloon to touch the 100kmph from standstill in just 6.6 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
