India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch a series of new products in next couple of years. The first product to hit market will be the much-awaited SX4 S-Cross crossover, which was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show back in February. The fresh syshots of the crossover shows the India-specific features. Moreover, the variants and other details of the vehicle have also hit the interweb.
According to GaadiWaadi.com, the SX4 S-Cross will be offered in two trim levels- VXi/VDi and ZXi/ZDi. The recent spy pictures is reportedly the top-spec ‘Z’ trim of the crossover, which is equipped with a chrome strip running above the taillamp. The company is reportedly skipped the basic LXi/LDi trim from the crossover lineup. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to 14-inch alloy wheels. The other features include projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators.
The entry-spec VXi/VDi trim will get halogen headlamps instead of projectors, while the alloy wheels get 10-spoke design. It also lacks daytime running lights and turn indicators mounted on wing mirrors. It is likely to be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. While the oil burner is expected to be the 1.6-litre MJD & 1.3L MJD, the gasoline version is likely to get the 1.4-litre K Series engine.
