South Korean automaker Hyundai will launch the ix25 compact SUV production version in the Indian car market in 2015. The company recently unveiled the crossover at the 2014 Chengdu Motor Show, and the road test reviews for the crossover has already hit the web in China. The ix25 compact SUV features the company’s modern design fluidic design philosophy. The front fascia of the car gets triple slat chrome grille in hexagonal shape that accommodates the Hyundai badge at the centre. The chrome grille is flanked by projector headlamps.
The side profile of the compact SUV features aggressive body lines, sharp edges and curves running across the car. At the back, the crossover features huge LED tail lamps and integrated rear spoiler.
The Hyundai ix25 compact SUV measures 4270mm in length, 1780mm in width and 1622mm in height, and it comes with a wheelbase of 2590mm. It is equipped with an electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators and 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the crossover features multi-functional infotainment system, heated seats, sunroof, automatic air conditioning, etc.
The Indian spec model will get both petrol and diesel fuel options. The crossover is likely to share engine lineup with Verna sedan i.e 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine.
