Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler maker, is aiming to mark its presence in the performance bike segment. At the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the homegrown automaker surprised everyone with the unveiling of a new 600cc street-naked concept bike, the Hastur. This naked concept looks quite aggressive, thanks to its street-fighter appearance along with essential bodywork.
Styling
The Hero Hastur features twin-projector LED headlamps upfront, while the side blinkers and tail lamps also get LED lighting. Its instruments are placed on the tank, which is unique and complements the overall styling of the bike. Bar end mirrors are positioned on either sides of flat handlebars. The tank casing covers most of the Hastur’s body work, and smartly blends under the rider seat. The velvet seats come with contrasting yellow stitching. Its exhaust pipes come with a shroud covering, which is placed lower to get better mass centralisation. Long story short, the Hastur looks quite an appealing motorcycle and might give its competitors run for their money.
