Right after the new Pulsar RS 200, Bajaj Auto, the home-grown bike manufacturer rolled out two new products in the new ‘Pulsar Adventure Sport’ range – the AS150 and the AS200. While the AS150 targets buyers looking for an affordable adventure bike, the AS200 is for the people ready to spend some more thousands in order to get more power. The bike has been launched at an introductory price of Rs. 91,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it cheaper than the newly launched RS200.
Design
Just like the RS 200, the Pulsar AS200, too, is based on the 200 NS; however, it gets a larger windshield than the 200NS. The bike features a semi-fairing that merges into the tank and big headlamps with projectors. The vehicle’s front seems inspired from the Discover 150F, while the rest of the bike looks largely similar to the 200 NS. Features like rear section, swing arm, seating position, disc brakes, etc are sourced from the 200 NS.
