American automaker Ford introduced the all-new Everest aka Endeavour SUV concept at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. This new generation Endeavour will also make its way to the Indian car market by the 2015-16.
The all-new Ford Endeavour aka Everest has been spotted several times during its test rounds across the globe. The vehicle showcased looks quite closer to its production form, and we expect that the production model will share most of its styling cues with the concept.
The seven-seater SUV is likely to feature a new intelligent one-touch multi-model all-wheel drivetrain, to conquer different roads. The new SUV is expected to be powered by the same 2.5-litre and 3.0-litre diesel engines. Moreover, the company will also introduce a new six-speed manual gearbox and a new auto gearbox.
The new Ford Everest is equipped with a trapezoidal grille with chrome accents and sweptback headlights. Its lower end of the bumper gets a matte silver skid plate which extends to accommodate fog lamp assembly. The side profile of the SUV has outside rear view mirrors with chrome inserts, chrome door handles, sporty wheel arches and sewage window line.
